FAQ — Glam Bot Photo Booth Service
A Glam Bot is a motorised robotic camera arm similar in concept to the camera rigs used in professional film and sports broadcasting. It is programmed to move through a precise, repeatable arc while the camera captures footage at high frame rates. The arm moves consistently for every guest so every sequence has the same dramatic camera movement regardless of when it is shot during the event.
Each finished sequence is typically 15 to 30 seconds long the ideal length for social media sharing on Instagram reels, and WhatsApp status. The actual filming takes approximately 8 to 12 seconds of camera movement. The high frame rate footage is then slowed down in post processing to create the extended slow motion sequence.
Finished sequences are typically delivered within 5 to 10 minutes of filming. Our on site operator processes each sequence immediately after capture so guests receive their video while still at the event and share it in real time.
The Glam Bot requires a clear operating space of approximately 12 by 12 feet — for the arm, the guest standing area, the lighting setup, and the operator station. Ceiling height should be a minimum of 8 feet. We assess venue suitability during the booking process and advise on placement for the best results.
Yes in suitable conditions. Outdoor Glam Bot setups require a covered or sheltered area wind affects both the special effects and the camera stability. We advise on outdoor setup requirements based on your specific venue and event conditions.
We recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks ahead for standard events. For large corporate events, product launches, galas, and weddings 8 weeks minimum. Custom motion graphics and effects preparation require significant lead time so advance booking is essential.
